The forum is 100% free as long as it exists.
Why? Because helping people in the same situation helps me, helps you and helps everyone else.
There's no membership fee ready to leap out when you're not looking.
I don't own, nor can I sell the mailing list.
I can send individual e-mails for admin reasons only.
I can send group e-mails to say what we are up to, but my instinct is that should be rare (no more than quarterly).
The forum is paid for by the banner advert which is placed by ProBoards not the forum administrator.
If anyone gets paid work as a result of interactions here, that's their business with no cut owed to the forum.
If there are future 'side services' offered in the future then they might conceivably be charged to cover their costs, but right now I have no idea what they might be.
